It was a new lease in the summer, set it up when it was a little damp yet, then they graveled the road after we were done. But I had to go back a few weeks later to finish up the heat-trace and insulating. Barely made it in, had rained recently... old lease road/lease wasn't bad... but once I hit the new road... I used my momentum to make it in. Managed to move forward enough to lift the drilling bowl onto the truck... but sunk down in the mean time lol. Just got wetter as I got closer to the well-head. Had to have a grader pull me out backwards to the old lease.

Granted, I did try getting myself out, it wasn't quite at the bumper to start with... but after rocking it back and forth... always tire-hopping/spinning when I hit the lip at the front tires where I initially sunk down. I kept getting deeper and deeper, then gave up lol

Not under the hood of that one. I'll snap some pics someday soon here of our sterling and dodge 5500, clean looking picker/deck trucks. Not sure when we'll have the 2010 Acterra with the 6.7 in the shop, it's still at the dealer's I think. I'll be sure to get pics of it, as the cab & chassis once we get it.
My current Acterra is just a mercedes diesel... gutless junk. I sure hope I get this new one... would be like a huge raise lol.. it's all air-ride too.

lol, I'll believe that Dodge will run a mercedes diesel in a 2500-5500 truck and that ford will run the cummins... the day they show up on a dealer lot.
Seems too far-fetched really... sure Ford could want to and may even run cummins in some trucks, but I really don't see Dodge not being allowed to/not wanting to.

I don't know how viable it is that Ford will get Cummins. Especially since ford is developing their own diesel 6.7 V8

Yah, the only thing I've read between Chrysler/Cummins is that Cummins will go ahead with the light-duty (halfton) diesel with/without Chrysler. Rumours have it that Nissan is wanting the diesel, but that's just rumours.

Hey I think that no matter what diesel cummins builds !! One of the manufacturers will pick it up for their trucks because of cummins track record!! I personally would like to see the TOYOTA 1 ton truck they made for SEMA a couple of years ago go into production!! That would be one tough, dependable and almost maintenance free truck!!

I've gotta agree with you here. They may be good, they may be great for all I care... but I hate the looks of them and I hate the fact that they come in with their little crap cars and ruin the 'real car' market here cuz everyone decides a tiny little ugly car is best. Then they bring in small ugly trucks and want to try big ugly trucks now. They also force the big 3 domestic guys to build uglier stuff to steal back some attention.
I have a passionate hate towards import cars/trucks. I'd rather spend the cash on putting a rebuilt/done up Cummins into an older chevy/dodge truck than buy a toyota/nissan with one. Hell, I'd even fork out the cash for a new light duty Cummins to put in a Chevy/dodge... but wouldn't drive an import just for it.

There was going to be some sort of joint job/whatever there between Nissan and the Dodge Rams, but with all that's going on right now, that's been axed.

No I wouldnt trade my truck in for a Toyota!! But if the ever did get in the realm of putting diesels and coming out with 3/4 and 1 tons. I think that it would make the big 3 increase their quality of their vehicles. Mainly those parts you know they cheapen out on to save a few bucks !! I.E : Transmissions , front ends , fuel pumps Etc... you guys know what I am getting AT !!!
